Cascade Compost

Cascade compost is thermally decomposed by microbial breakdown in large piles of organic matter. Thermal compost is a very young relative to a product like Alaskan humus. The two products are similar in that they are biologically active organic matter. Alaskan humus has had significantly longer time to decompose so the humus is more stable. Also, the microbial populations in each material will be different because they originate from different sources. Cascade compost consistently shows impressive biological counts.
